A 41-year-old Portuguese-French man was arrested this morning on suspicion of physical harm, on Batata beach, in the municipality of Lagos.
Following a report received at 07:00 a.m., reporting situations of offenses against physical integrity by an individual, next to the Lagos Marina and, later, on Batata beach, an element of the local Maritime Police Command traveled immediately to the location.
Members of the PSP, as well as the Lagos Volunteer Firefighters, also attended.
The Maritime Police and PSP approached the suspect, confirming suspicions of physical aggression.
After contacting the Public Prosecutor's Office, the man was transported by firefighters to a hospital unit.
The local command of the Maritime Police of Lagos took care of the incident.
