The Castle of Silves, the Municipal Museum of Archeology, the Church of Misericórdia, the Museum of Costume and Traditions (São Bartolomeu de Messines) and the Alcantarilha Exhibition Center have new opening hours, announced this Monday, 6th of November, the Municipality.
The objective of the change is «to create schedules that adapt to the different audiences that visit these living spaces, making them more accessible and participatory».
Thus, Silves Castle will now be open every day (except the 1st of January and the 25th of December), between 9:00 am and 18:00 pm, from January to April and from October to December, and between 9:00 am and 20:00 pm, from May to September.
The Municipal Archeology Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00, and the Misericórdia Church from Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 18:00, closing from 13:00 to 14:00 for lunch time.
The Museum of Costume and Traditions of São Bartolomeu de Messines is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 18:00 in winter time and from 13:00 to 19:00 in summer time.
The Alcantarilha Exhibition Center is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10 am to 00 pm in winter time and from 18 pm to 00 pm in summer time.
