Minister Ana Abrunhosa visited the future Vila do Bispo Museum – The Barn of History

Museum results from the rehabilitation of the old Granaries of Vila do Bispo – EPAC

The Minister of Territorial Cohesion visited, last Saturday, November 25th, the Vila do Bispo Museum – O Celeiro da História, a work nearing completion financed by European funds, which is scheduled to open next January.

The Vila do Bispo Museum – O Celeiro da História results from the rehabilitation of the old Celeiros de Vila do Bispo – EPAC, a building that was deteriorating and was transformed into a public cultural facility, where visitors are introduced to the cultural and natural heritage of the municipality, with a total investment of 2,83 million euros.

This working visit by Minister Ana Abrunhosa to the municipality was part of her trip to the Barlavento Algarve to find out about the progress of projects developed, with the support of European funds managed in the region, in the areas of energy efficiency and sustainable mobility.

The minister was accompanied by the president of CCDR-Algarve, the executive of the Vila do Bispo Municipal Council, the president of the Vila do Bispo Municipal Assembly and the president of the Sagres Parish Council.
