Vilamoura Marina celebrated São Martinho, last Friday, November 10th, with the Environment Days, part of the Blue Flag Program.
According to Isolete Correia, administrator of Vilamoura Marina, «environmental sustainability is a priority for the Marina» and, in this sense, the Environment Days «are a fundamental tool for promoting good practices in terms of sustainability, particularly among new generations. They will be the ones to dictate the future of our planet and, therefore, they must be encouraged from a very early age, to care for and protect the environment».
The program took place at UB3 on Vilamoura beach, during the morning, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, and, this time, the protagonists were students from the 4th year class.
During the activity, two educational games were played in teams (recycling courier and a question-answer game), which addressed environmental themes, including pollution and correct behavior in the area of the environment, with emphasis on the annual theme of the Blue Flag Program – Geodiversity.
