Clubs and associations in Loulé that wish to receive support from the Municipality in 2024 can apply for the Sports Development Support Program (PADD), until January 8th.
«This support is intended for all sports agents in Loulé who cumulatively meet the following requirements: are legally constituted; have their registered office or nucleus in the Municipality area; are registered on the Associativism Portal of the Municipality of Loulé, and regularly update their institutional characteristics; have their tax situation duly regularized with Finance and Social Security; maintain activity in the year in which subsidies are processed, in each of the axes/measures for which they apply», according to Loulé Chamber.
The Sports Development Support Program «defines the types and forms of support to be granted by the Municipality for the promotion and stimulation of the practice of physical activity and sport, establishing the rules and conditions for its attribution to clubs and associations».
«This mechanism is structured around three axes and 12 support measures aimed at activities, programs and projects to promote physical activity that promote healthy lifestyle habits within the community, for the organization of events that project the municipality and the region, to support for participation in international competitions and for high-performance athletes, as well as the valorization and enrichment of the clubs' heritage», recalls the Câmara de Loulé.
