Faro was the city chosen by the Next Clinics Group, one of the largest European assisted reproduction and healthcare groups, to open the first Next Fertility clinic in Portugal.
The new clinic is intended to serve patients from the entire Algarve and Baixo Alentejo area, allowing for various health treatments to be carried out. fertility and diagnostic exams, and “responds to a specific need of the population of these areas given the lack of comprehensive centers specializing in assisted reproduction”.

In these clinics it is possible to find gynecologists specialized in fertility and assisted reproduction, embryologists, anesthetists, urologists, psychologists, nurses and clinical assistants.
With this opening, the company reinforces its commitment to the Iberian Peninsula. In 2023, the company opened four new centers in Spain, where it already has a total of eight reproduction clinics and one of the largest gamete biobanks in Europe. In Europe, Next Clinics employs around a thousand people, spread across eight countries and has 22 clinics and seven diagnostic laboratories. The group surpasses the barrier of 12 thousand assisted reproduction cycles per year, more than 30 thousand genetic tests and more than 4,5 million diagnostic tests performed.
