The 6st Mental Health Days of the Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve (CHUA) will take place on the 7th and XNUMXth of December, at the Hospital de Faro.
Organized by the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health, these days aim to be “a space for reflection on various themes, with special emphasis on interventions in the acutely ill, in the community, in the geriatric age, as well as mental health in health professionals, the articulation with primary health care, Mental Health policies and challenges for the future», explains the organization.
During the two-day event, several professionals from multidisciplinary teams and guest speakers will address topics such as Mental Health policies, intervention in the Acute Patient (Emergency and Inpatient), Community intervention (Outpatient), geriatric age – interface of specialties, mental health in professional, articulation with primary and delegated health care, challenges for the future.
In addition to the debate tables, the program also includes a practical aspect with three workshops on relaxation – Faro (10:30 am to 12:30 pm) and Portimão (14:00 pm to 16:00 pm) and health communication – Faro (14pm to 00pm).
