RTA General Assembly meets to vote on budget and changes to statutes

Assessing and approving the budget for 2024 and the proposal to change the statutes of the Algarve Tourism Region are the main points of the RTA General Assembly, which will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, November 21st, at 14pm, in the auditorium of this entity, in Faro.

«The review of the Algarve Tourism Strategic Marketing Plan, to respond to the challenge of keeping tourism growing in an international macroeconomic context marked by uncertainty; the implementation of an information system to support the activities of the Observatory for Sustainable Tourism in the Algarve; or the structuring of a diversified portfolio of tourism products that enhance the regional offer are among the many actions planned for next year», according to the RTA.

Other activities foreseen in the activity plan for 2024 are participation in tourism fairs, digital marketing and the sustainability of the tourist offer.

The RTA General Assembly is made up of the 16 municipalities in the region, the main associations representing the sector in the region, unions and a Government representative.
