The Municipality of Aljezur will support the Sweet Potato Producers Association with 6 thousand euros, to maintain the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) certification.
In a note, the municipality reinforces that, «with the focus on quality products, which differentiate this region and particularly the Municipality of Aljezur, support for quality products has always been a priority».
The decision to grant support of 6 thousand euros to the association was taken on November 2nd at a Chamber meeting.
