Algarve and Alentejo under yellow warning on Thursday due to rain

Faro, Beja, Évora, Portalegre, Lisbon and Setúbal will be under yellow warning from the early hours of Thursday, November 30th, due to the forecast of rain, «sometimes strong and persistent», the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and of Atmosphere (IPMA).

The districts of Lisbon, Setúbal, Beja and Évora will be under yellow warning between 3am and 00pm on Thursday, due to the forecast of «periods of rain, sometimes strong and persistent».

According to the IPMA statement, the district of Faro will be under yellow warning between 12pm and 00pm on Thursday, while the Portalegre district will be under the same warning between 18am and 00pm.

The yellow warning is issued by the IPMA whenever there is a risk situation for certain activities dependent on the weather situation.
