The show “Dançar Poesia: Liquefied Dream of a Dragonfly”, by Yuko Kominami, will be seen tomorrow, Saturday, the 28th, in the Jardim da Igreja de S. Francisco, in Tavira.
This is an event organized by Alternative Sharing, inserted in the schedule of the Álvaro de Campos Birthday Party (FAAC) 2023.
In addition to Yuko Kominami's performance, the play features music by Tomás Tello. The setting is by Ichiko Funai.
The first study for the creation of this piece was seen at the Álvaro de Campos Municipal Library as part of Viva a Primavera 2021.
It later gained support from the Luxembourg Ministry of Culture, which allowed the development of the project into its final format, which was premiered at the Luxembourg Casino.
According to Partilha Alternativa, this «is a dance piece about metamorphosis». The invitation to the dancer to present her creation at FAAC is a possible parallel with Fernando Pessoa's creative process.
