The Municipality of Silves returns this year, between the 16th and 31st of October, to open applications for a total of 15 scholarships, aimed at supporting higher education students in the municipality.
Applications can be made to the Education sector, upon presentation of various documents.
The form, which can be downloaded on here, must be accompanied by a photocopy of the updated receipts of the gross salary of all members of the household who are carrying out a paid professional activity, or a receipt from the social security pension or document proving the unemployment benefit granted, as well as a photocopy of the( s) IRS declaration(s) from the previous calendar year of all members of the household who carry out paid professional activity.
In addition, candidates must submit a photocopy of the citizen cards or equivalent document of all members of the household, a photocopy of the last rent receipt and rental contract or document proving the value of the monthly housing installment, document proving registration in the Educational Establishment, with specification of the course and year that the student is attending and certificate of academic achievement from the previous academic year, with the average value of the grades obtained.
A statement issued by the candidate is also required attesting to their candidacy for another scholarship in another
body or entity, or its non-existence and certificate of residence and household composition issued by the Parish Council of the area of residence.
