Portimão will host, from the 20th to the 22nd of October, the celebrations of the Day of the Maritime Police and the General Directorate of the Maritime Authority.
Exhibition of equipment, at the Museum of Portimão, and the traditional baptisms of the sea, next to the Clube Naval de Portimão, where it will be possible to sail aboard equipment from the Maritime Police and the General Directorate of the Maritime Authority.
These are some of the activities that will take place during these days.
The official celebration ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 22nd, at 11:30 am, in the Portimão riverside area, where public recognition will be given to several agents and soldiers of the National Maritime Authority, for the way in which they carried out their duties.
This ceremony will culminate with a demonstration of capabilities and a parade of nautical resources from the Maritime Police and the General Directorate of the Maritime Authority.
All activities commemorating Maritime Police Day and the General Directorate of the Maritime Authority are free.
