The Book Festival takes place this weekend, the 7th and 8th of October, in Praceta Kürnach and adjacent areas, in Aljezur, with activities such as storytellers, book sales, creative workshops, board games, clown performances and theater, sale and exchange of used books and open-air cinema.
According to Tertúlia – Aljezur Socio-Cultural Association, the event aims to “captivate younger minds and enrich the lives of children and young people in the region, as it focuses on promoting reading, creativity and culture and is especially aimed at the public children and young people and their families».
The 2023 Book Festival is “more than a simple literary event; is an immersive, interactive celebration of the magical world of literature. Our main mission is to inspire and nurture the love of reading from the beginning of children's journeys, providing an environment rich in literary and creative stimuli».
