Albufeira is, from the 9th until the 15th of October, hosting “The Nomad World Fest”, an event that brings together nearly 250 participants from all over the world.
The event created by the Digital Nomads Association Portugal (DNA Portugal), is co-organized by the Municipality of Albufeira, and promises to «be a rich and transformative experience for all digital nomads», says the municipality.
The program combines several experts in the field, who present their studies on upcoming trends, challenges and professional opportunities, as well as workshops and practical workshops on working and living in the digital world.
The program also includes playful moments.
José Carlos Rolo, president of Albufeira City Council, revealed that it is with great pleasure that «Albufeira welcomes this event which is conducive to reflection on the changes in the labor market, which are currently
highly connected with the digital environment».
The mayor also mentioned that «our city, in addition to being an excellent tourist location, has already been considered one of the four best places in the country for digital nomads, not only because of the weather conditions and scenic beauty, from the coast to the barrocal , but also due to the ease of mobility, accessibility and hospitality».
