Conversation cycle in Loulé talks about active aging

Participation is free

The next session of the conversation cycle “Sow Today…Reap Tomorrow…” will take place this Friday, October 27th, from 18:30 pm, at the Loulé Library, and will be dedicated to the theme “Active Aging – What perspectives? ”.

The October session is hosted by Filomena Bayle, clinical psychologist, who worked in the areas of Pedopsychiatry, Geriatrics, Forensic Psychiatry and Perinatality in France. She is a researcher and trainer in the area of Clinical Psychology and Perinatality.

At a time when Portugal has one of the highest population aging rates in Europe, the country's policies are now focused on ensuring healthy and active aging for its seniors, with measures that promote healthy lifestyle habits. Loulé has embraced projects included in the National Plan, for example hosting the National Aging Observatory, in Alte, or the Active Aging Skills Center.

Similar to what has been taking place in previous sessions, during the initiative, the public will be able to provide their children, aged three years or over, with participation in an activity dedicated to promoting books and dynamic reading by library professionals, upon prior registration.

Participation is free, but subject to registration via this link.
