Algarve students challenged to be “Guardians of the Water”

Initiative is back

The educational project “Water Guardians Challenge” is back, with news for all classes in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycles of Basic Education in Algarve schools, but also with a competition for Secondary classes.

The first action is aimed at students in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cycles.

Students are challenged to create their own comic strip stories featuring Clarinha, Salpico and the new characters, Polvo Pitágoras and Lula Xapim.

Participants must choose one of the project themes: “Efficient use of water at school”, “Water and environmental pollution” or “Sanitation”. Then, they must create their stories and create their comics, with just 4 A4 pages.

Registration to participate in the Challenge will be open from October 1st, and can be made via email at [email protected]. Participation in this initiative requires consultation of the regulations that are available here

The second action is aimed at secondary school students. The challenge is to create the “Water Rap”, in which students are invited to develop a rap or quatrain about water preservation and sanitation.

There will be prizes for everyone.

In addition, the project magazine will continue, which offers exclusive and entertaining-pedagogical content for students.
