Águas de Vila Real de Santo António was recognized by the Water and Waste Services Regulatory Entity (ERSAR) with the “Seal of exemplary quality of water for human consumption”, within the scope of the “Water and Waste Services Awards and Seals” initiative. ”.
This distinction validates that achieved in recent years by the concession managed by AQUAPOR.

In addition to Águas de Vila Real de Santo António, the Aquapor Group has seven other distinctions in this edition of the ERSAR Awards, in this same category, through the entities Águas de Cascais, Águas de Gondomar, Águas do Planalto, Águas do Lena, Águas da Figueira, Águas da Azambuja and Águas da Teja.
To award the “Seal of exemplary quality of water for human consumption”, ERSAR carried out a quantitative assessment of 227 regulated management entities, based on indicators and data from the water quality control regulatory cycle, as well as a qualitative assessment, taking into account aspects related to governance, compliance with legal obligations, conduct before the regulator and significant occurrences with an impact on the provision of the service.
ERSAR awards the “Seal of exemplary quality of water for human consumption” to management entities that stand out for their good performance in providing public water supply services (to end users).
