The University of Algarve (UAlg) marks, this Thursday, October 5th, the Opening of the 2023/24 Academic Year with the concert “Ao Som dos Trompetes”, starting at 18pm, at Campus da Penha, an outdoor space at UAlg Tec Campus.
The concert, hosted by Orquestra do Algarve, is free to enter, although subject to space capacity.
This concert takes place in camerata formation, with the musical direction of the concertmaster – leader of the first violins – complemented by the quality and instinct of the Orquestra do Algarve musicians.
One of the highlights is the partnership between João Mogo, trumpeter from Orquestra do Algarve, and Francisco Machado, winner of the XIII Póvoa de Varzim Trumpet Competition.
