The Municipality of Tavira will, this school year, reinforce support for education by offering card books and activities not only to students in the 1st Cycle but also in the 2nd.
1st Cycle students continue to benefit from a material kit, while school transport remains free (up and down included) for all levels of education, as well as access to buses for study visits.
«In addition, a set of school enrichment activities of a playful, training and cultural nature are made possible, aligned with the objectives defined in the educational project of each group of schools», the authority also states.
Continuity and priority are also given to the improvement and modernization plan for the municipality's schools, through the provision of new computers/tablets, WiFi access points and projectors.
The measures adopted will cover more than 1400 students, representing an investment of 278 euros, in supporting families in the municipality.
