Luís Costa wins Portuguese Paracycling Cup

Athlete based in Portimão prevailed in the H5 category

“Algarvian” Luís Costa won the Portuguese Paracycling Cup, in the H5 category, after winning the fifth and final race of this competition, which took place this morning, in Montemor-o-Velho, on an 8,4 kilometer straight circuit. .

At the end of this race, the winners of the 12 existing categories were declared, in most of which the cup winner was also the fastest in the race.

This was the case of Bernardo Vieira (C1), Telmo Pinão (C2), João Monteiro (C4), Miguel Pacheco (C5), André Soares (D), Flávio Pacheco (H4), André Dias (B), Felismina Gomes ( H5 female) and Ana Silva (B female).

In H2, the cup was won by Sérgio Gomes, despite Luís Jejum having won today's race and in H3 João Pinto was the fastest in today's race, but it was Ruben Garcia who took the cup.

In the C3 paracycling category, Paulo Barreto celebrated the title, despite there being no race in this fifth race of the Cup.
