A 23-year-old young man was arrested red-handed this Sunday, September 10, while trying to escape from a house he had robbed, in the municipality of Olhão.
After reporting that they had forced entry into a residence and that a robbery was taking place against a couple, the military from the Olhão Territorial Post went to the scene and saw a young man trying to escape.
The man was eventually arrested and had 850 euros with him resulting from the robbery.
During police investigations at the scene, the knife used in the crime was also found and seized.
The detainee was named a defendant and the facts were communicated to the Judicial Court of Olhão.
