The Judicial Police arrested a 36-year-old man due to strong evidence of committing the crime of pornography against minors, in the municipality of Vila Real de Santo António.
The PJ learned of the facts through an individual with whom the detainee interacted on social media and to whom he sent several files with explicit sexual acts carried out on and between minors.
After collecting “relevant evidence”, the PJ detained the suspect, who was brought before the competent Judicial Authorities for judicial interrogation and application of coercive measures.
The investigation is led by the Public Prosecutor's Office, Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of Vila Real de Santo António.
