There are areas of Faro without water since this Thursday, September 7th, due to “problems in the public network”. Fagar says it is trying to resolve the situation, but there are residents without water supply for more than 24 hours.

On the website of the municipal company Fagar, there has been, since yesterday, the 7th (interestingly, Municipality Day), a message that explains the problems «in the public network that can momentarily cause a lack of flow and pressure».

But the moment has been going on for a long time.

The situation is affecting the streets of São Luís, Cruz das Mestras, Alportel and Cândido Guerreiro, as well as Praça da Paz and António Sérgio.

Fagar guarantees that it is “making every effort to ensure that the restoration is carried out as quickly as possible”, but the problem has been going on for more than a day.

On social media, there are countless reports of residents complaining about the lack of water, already desperate about the situation.

On your website, Fagar leaves a telephone number (808 289 808) for anyone who wants more information, but when you try to call, you only hear an automatic message about the areas that are still being affected, which adds nothing, much less says when you can the lack of water is resolved.

There is also another contact for general service, but no one responds, because Fagar is closed today... perhaps due to a time allowance due to Municipality Day.
