Youth Festival takes Bishop and Bárbara Bandeira to Tavira

Bishop acts on the 29th and Bárbara Bandeira on the 30th

Bispo and Bárbara Bandeira will perform at the Youth Festival which takes place from September 29th to October 1st, at Praça da República, in Tavira.

The initiative begins on the 29th with a performance by Varsity D' Dance, followed, at 22pm, by Bispo's concert.

On the 30th, also at 22pm, in the same place, Bárbara Bandeira takes the stage. The night ends with the sound of DJ Fábio Palma vs VJ The Eye.

During these three days of celebration, an area dedicated to street food and showcooking.

There will also be space for educational activities, as well as concerts with local bands, DJs, moments of modern dance and hip hop. The groups Last Heaven, Melliflows Band, Companhia de Dança Splash and Academia de Dança do Algarve (ADA) are some of the names that are part of the program.

Young people will also have the opportunity to participate in sporting activities promoted by local associations, in Jardim das Palmeiras. There will also be an area dedicated to children's entertainment with inflatables and air bungee.

Mercado da Ribeira, on September 30th, at 21:30 pm, hosts the show “10th Anniversary Triple C Dança”, guided by Célia Cabecinha from the Dance Company of Clube de Karaté de Tavira.

On October 1st, in the same location, at 17pm, it will be possible to watch the presentation of the musical project “À Volta das Cordas”, by Baixamar – Associação Cultural, under the guidance of musician José Francisco.

Finally, on October 1st, at 21:30 pm, in Praça da República, the “Moda Tavira 2023” fashion show will take place, presented by Santiago Lagoá.

Young people between 15 and 26 years old will have the opportunity to parade alongside names like Patrícia Candoso and António Camelier.

The initiative, organized by the Associação Baixa de Tavira with the support of the Municipality of Tavira, aims to publicize the Autumn-Winter collection of local businesses and will be enriched with artistic performances by D' Dance Company.
