Faro hosts Forum for Social Inclusion in the Algarve

Event will take place at CCDR Algarve

The Forum for Social Inclusion in the Algarve, an event where issues of active inclusion of vulnerable groups will be addressed, will take place on September 19th, at 14:30 pm, in the auditorium of the headquarters building of the Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDR ) of the Algarve, in Faro.

In the session, organized by the Algarve CCDR, in partnership with AMAL – Algarve Intermunicipal Community, the financing opportunities arising from the Algarve 2030 Regional Program in the field of social inclusion and the Algarve Social Development Plan, developed in partnership by the Community Intermunicipal Algarve (AMAL) and the District Center of Faro of the Social Security Institute (ISS).

The initiative will feature the participation of representatives from the National Program for the Promotion of School Success (PNPSE), the ISS, the Mission Structure for Gender Equality (EMIG), the National Strategy to Combat Poverty 2021-2030 (ENCP), GEPAC of the Ministry of Culture, National Plan for the Arts and National Reading Plan – Local Reading Plans and the Fund for Asylum, Migration and Integration (FAMI 2030).

The opening session is expected to involve the Secretaries of State for Social Inclusion, Ana Sofia Antunes, and Regional Development, Isabel Ferreira, as well as the president of AMAL, António Miguel Pina. The closing will be carried out by Margarida Flores, district director of ISS, and José Apolinário, president of CCDR Algarve and the Algarve 2030 Regional Program.

Registration in the forum, dedicated especially to mayors, directors and technicians of Municipal Chambers, directors and technicians of IPSS and Social Economy entities, must be made through this link and are dependent on the capacity of the auditorium.
