Two men, aged 27 and 36, who were transporting cocaine in their car, were arrested this Sunday, September 3, for trafficking, in Quarteira.
During a patrolling action, the GNR gave «stop order to a vehicle that did not heed the indication and took off».
In the car followed two men, but when the military stopped the vehicle, moments later, one of them had already fled.
The steps allowed, a few hours later, to locate this second occupant.
In total, 1250 doses of cocaine, two mobile phones and 90 euros in cash were seized.
The detainees were made defendants and will be present today, September 4, at the Judicial Court of Loulé, for the application of coercive measures.
