Three 23-year-olds are in custody for robberies in Albufeira

Crimes took place in Praia da Oura

Three 23-year-olds were arrested on the 1st of August, in the municipality of Albufeira, for theft, and were held in custody. 

Following a denunciation of disturbances in the area of ​​Praia da Oura, the military went to the scene and found that six young people, aged between 17 and 23, had been victims of aggression and robbery by a group of three individuals who then fled by car.

The youths were later picked up near the crime scene.

The action also culminated in the apprehension of two mobile phones, a wallet, a suitcase, a wooden stick and a vehicle.

This action had the reinforcement of the soldiers from the Criminal Prevention and Community Policing Section (SPCPC) and the Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC) of Albufeira and also soldiers from the Public Order Intervention Group (GIOP) of the Intervention Unit (UI) .

The detainees were present at the Judicial Court of Albufeira, on the 2nd of August, having been applied the coercive measure of pre-trial detention.
