Spanish surfer rescued on Canal beach

The woman was found "in an isolated area of ​​difficult access"

A 46-year-old Spanish surfer was rescued on the afternoon of Thursday, August 3, at Canal beach (Aljezur), after having been missing.

According to the National Maritime Authority (AMN), the alert was given at 16 pm, reporting the disappearance of the surfer.

Immediately, searches began by members of the Maritime Police of Lagos and the “SeaWatch” project.

The woman was found "in an isolated area of ​​difficult access, and a wide-angle team from the Volunteer Fire Department of Aljezur was immediately activated, which carried out the rescue of the victim".

The surfer, because she was physically well, did not need medical assistance, having left the place by her own means.
