Quinta do Bill and Peste & Sida go to the Mexilhoeira Grande Youth Festival

The Portuguese bands Quinta do Bill and “Peste & Sida” headline the 22nd Youth Festival of Mexilhoeira Grande, which takes place on the 1st and 2nd of September, at the Polidesportivo da Figueira.

On Friday, September 1st, the festival starts at 21 pm with Electric Gold, followed by a performance by Quinta do Bill.

This opening night will end with Slash N'Roses, Gun's N'Roses tribute band, and the Bubba Brothers.

The program for Saturday, September 2nd, begins at 20 pm with the presentation of the athletes and technical teams that will represent Mexilhoeira Grande Futebol Clube in the 00/2023 season, while Fita Cola will open the concerts scheduled for this evening, followed by Plague & AIDS.

The night will end with the musical proposals of the band Dá Cá, a tribute to AC/DC, and the performance of DJ Nuno Silva, who will recover great hits from the 1980s and 1990s.

The public will be able to purchase hot dogs, drinks, pizzas and bifanas, among other snacks, on the premises.

The Festival is organized by Mexilhoeira Grande Futebol Clube in collaboration with the association Alternativa XIII, with the support of the Municipality of Portimão and the local Parish Council.

Tickets cost 5 euros, including a glass, and are on sale at the venue, from 20 pm on Friday and 00 pm on Saturday, and can be purchased until 19 pm on both nights.
