The mayor congratulated the winner and stressed that “young people are a greater value and have a vision of the world to which it is necessary to be attentive. This year Albufeira launched this award within the scope of Opto and we hope that it will be an incentive for our youth to look into fundamental issues in the field of sustainability. I believe that in the future, these young people will be the solution to many of our questions”.

José Fernandes confided that the prize will be useful for paying tuition fees and, showing satisfaction, wished success to the Sustainability Prize launched this year by the Albufeira municipality.
