Concerts and many shows, the Municipality of Albufeira once again presents an outdoor program to liven up the summer nights.
At Largo Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco, today, August 2nd, the first concert on the schedule with Naira takes place. And, until the end of the month, there will be four more shows: on the 9th the Folkloric Ranch of Albufeira, on the 16th the Banda Alhada concert, on the 23rd the concert by José Praia and Aquaviva, and, for the last Wednesday - fair of the month, the performance of the Orquestra Juvenil da Banda de Paderne.
The initiative takes place every Wednesday, from 21:30.
In Jardim de Montechoro there are “Nights in the Garden”: this is a cycle of concerts of a more intimate nature, outdoors, in an emblematic space of the city. The program includes four musical shows, which always start at 21:30 pm.
On the 5th of August, the Nebuchadnezzar Group opens the cycle of concerts of the month. The contemporary music collective linked to Jazz presents a repertoire with a diverse musical aesthetic.
Ray & Ventura hit the stage on August 11th, Friday. The duo of musicians made up of Ray Van D, on vocals and guitar, and João Ventura, on drums, revisit the greatest hits of international rock and pop music, giving an acoustic and minimalist look to well-known themes.
Filipa Sousa, from Albufeira, who represented Portugal in Azerbaijan in 2012, after having won the 48th edition of the Festival da Canção, will perform on the 19th of August and will present the new album “Acreditar”.
The last concert is scheduled for the 26th of August. João Frade and João Silva take the stage to show their latest project “Lugares”, launched in 2021.
