A 19-year-old youth was arrested on 4 August, in Albufeira, for robbery using a bladed weapon, disclosed the GNR.
Two men, aged 20 and 22, were robbed in the street, having been threatened with a knife.
The investigation launched by the Territorial Sub-detachment of Albufeira of the GNR made it possible to identify and locate the suspect, and it was also possible to recover 107 euros in cash, which were refunded to the victims.
The detainee was present at the Judicial Court of Portimão, on the 5th of August, having been applied the coercive measure of three-weekly appearances at the police station in his area of residence.
The action was supported by the Public Order Intervention Group (GIOP) of the Intervention Unit (UI) and the Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC) of the GNR in Albufeira.
