Road traffic on National Road 120, between São Teotónio and the southern limit of the municipality, has already been re-established, informed the Municipal Civil Protection Service.
In a note published on the official social networks of the Câmara de Odemira, it is also read that circulation on the Municipal Road 501 (access to Relva Grande) and on the Municipal Path 1186 (between São Miguel and Vale dos Alhos) continues to be prohibited due to the fire in São Teotónio , what started on Saturday, August 5th.
The Municipal Civil Protection Service asks the population to respect the recommendations of the authorities and to avoid travel and road traffic south of São Teotónio.
This fire has already consumed 7 thousand hectares and forced to remove 1400 people from their homes.
At the moment, 940 operators are fighting this fire, supported by 322 land assets and 6 air assets.
