The fire in the Sobral area, parish of Porches (Lagoa), which started at 17:10 pm on Wednesday, the 23rd, has already been brought under control, he told the Sul Informação source from the District Emergency and Civil Protection Command.

The fire, in an area of pine forest and bushes, is being fought by three aerial means, including two Fireboss planes and an initial attack helicopter.

There are also 39 operators supported by 10 vehicles on site.
