The Government will provide financial support to farmers who ran out of feed for their animals due to the fire that hit the municipalities of Odemira, Aljezur and Monchique, it was announced today.
«We are going to provide immediate support to deal with the purchase of animal feed. It is financial support that will be given to the head», revealed Maria do Céu Antunes, Minister of Agriculture and Food.
The minister was speaking to journalists at the end of a meeting with farmers who were affected by this fire, considered to have been over on Wednesday, held at the premises of the Parish Council of Odeceixe, municipality of Aljezur.
