Ferragudo is once again celebrating the day of its patron saint, Nossa Senhora da Conceição, on the 15th of August, with over a thousand people expected.
The musical entertainment takes place in downtown Ferragudo, on the 12,13th, 14th and 15th, culminating on the XNUMXth of August with the procession and festival.
The usual procession will be accompanied by the Banda Filarmónica Portimonense, on a route that, together with the ISN Ferragudo, will continue to Praia Grande, returning to land at Salva Vidas, where the blessing of the boats and fishermen will take place.
After the blessing, the procession will continue along Rua Infante Santo to the church.
At night, there is a festival in downtown Ferragudo with a fair and the participation of several guest artists.
The organization is in charge of the Parish Council of Ferragudo and the local parish, with the logistical support of the Municipality of Lagoa, also counting on the collaboration of associations based in the parish.
