Kriativa fair brings together inflatable cinema and Afghan musician refugee in Portugal

Performances start at 19pm

Jazz, rock blues, debates, a concert by an Afghan musician, refugee in Portugal, and “Inflatable Cinema”. The Kriativa Fair will take place from this Wednesday, August 23, at Associação Recreativa e Cultural de Músicos, in Faro. 

Until Sunday, the 27th, this is an event dedicated to valuing and promoting culture, artistic production and music.

There will be late afternoon concerts, visual arts exhibitions, a Kriativo gastronomic menu and performances, ending every night with excellent DJs.

Highlights of this edition include the opening concert tomorrow, Wednesday, by the Afghan musician, Fazel Ustad, artist and pedagogue refugee in Portugal, recent witness to persecution and censorship in his country, and the Inflatable Cinema, award-winning project national Access Culture 2023 that takes the fair out of doors for the first time, with the exhibition of short films for children and adults accompanied by children, in Jardim Manuel Bivar.

Added to this is the immersive exhibition of drawings and paintings by the extraordinary plastic and visual artist Elisabeth Ribeiro (Zayle).

This event takes place in the heart of the historic area, at the headquarters of the Association of Musicians.

Performances start at 19:00 pm. Tickets cost 4 euros for members and 5 euros for the general public.
