The Pilot Fish Farming Station in Olhão (EPPO/IPMA) has donated, in recent months, around 500 kilos of fish to several needy charitable institutions in that municipality.
Institutions include the Portuguese Red Cross of Olhão and Moncarapacho/Fuzeta, the Grupo de Bem Fazer Celeiro de Amor, the Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Olhão and Moncarapacho, the Nossa Senhora de Fátima Wellness Center and by chance.
In this way, «it was possible for these institutions to provide their users with menus that included aquaculture bream and bream, produced at EPPO», points out the Station.
