Colin Stüssi is the new yellow jersey

Jesus del Pino, from Aviludo – Louletano – Loulé Concelho, is now the best “algarvian” in the general classification of the Tour, after Delio Ferandez, from AP Hotels & Resorts/Tavira/SC Farense, having dropped from 2nd to 19th position, two steps after being yellow sweater.

In addition to being now the best “algarvian” overall, Jesus del Pino was also the best in this 7th stage, which was disputed between Torre de Moncorvo and Serra do Larouco, in Montalegre, having arrived in 9th place.

The stage was won by Swiss cyclist Colin Stüssi, Sui (Voralberg), who became the new yellow jersey.

At the end of the 162,6 kilometers, Stüssi won in 4:16.59 hours, the same time as the Spaniard Luis Ángel Maté (Euskaltel-Euskadi) and the Portuguese António Carvalho (ABTF-Feirense), second and third, respectively.

Overall, Stüssi took the lead, 28 seconds ahead of Russian Artem Nych (Glassdrive-Q8-Anicolor), who lost the yellow jersey, and 34 over Maté.

Tomorrow runs the eighth stage, between Boticas and Fafe, on a route of 146,7 kilometers, with three mountain counts, the last of which is third category, just over 15 kilometers from the end.
