Corrida da Baía once again unites the beaches of Manta Rota and Monte Gordo

Corrida da Baía returns on the 20th of August for its 24th edition, with a route along the coastline that will once again unite the beaches of Manta Rota and Monte Gordo.

The start of this athletics event is scheduled for 10:30 am, in the west part of Manta Rota beach, ending afterwards in the first concession in the east part of Praia de Monte Gordo.

The route, with a length of approximately 8 kilometres, will be run entirely on the beach and will have an intermediate goal, installed on the beach of Altura.

Athletes born up to the year 2005 can register, individually or collectively, federated or popular, through the Algarve Athletics Association platform, which also contains the regulation of the test.

The 24th Race of the Bay of Monte Gordo It is co-organised by Grupo Desportivo Pic-Nic, the Vila Real de Santo António Council and the Castro Marim Municipal Council and counts on the collaboration of the Algarve Athletics Association and the National Maritime Authority.
