The GNR detained 74 people and detected 621 traffic violations in the week of 21st to 27th August.
Of the arrests, 30 stand out for driving under the influence of alcohol, 12 for drug trafficking and 11 for driving without a legal license.
During this period, 196 doses of hashish, 60 doses of cocaine, 20 doses of heroin, six shotguns and ammunition of various calibers were also seized.
In traffic, there are still 621 violations to be registered: 377 for speeding, 34 for lack of mandatory periodic inspection, 26 for missing or incorrect use of seat belts and/or child restraint systems, 17 related to anomalies in the lighting and signaling, 16 due to lack of civil liability insurance and 12 for improper use of the cell phone while driving.
There were also, in this period, 194 accidents, which resulted in one death, three serious injuries and 42 minor injuries.
