The Álvaro de Campos Municipal Library, in Tavira, will host on the 15th of July the workshop for dog tutors “I adopted a dog and now?”.
The moment will be guided by Tiago Patel, with the first session, between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm, in English and the second, between 15:30 pm and 17:30 pm, in Portuguese.
According to the Câmara de Tavira, «this initiative aims to enable families to improve the welcome, integration and adaptation of the dog to their new homes, as well as to understand their behaviors in order to respond appropriately».
The action is the result of the joint work carried out between the Municipality of Tavira and the Associação Animais de Rua and is part of the Municipal Animal Welfare and Protection Plan.
Those interested in participating (maximum 20 per session) must register by the 13th of July via the email [email protected].
