Professor Carla Padrel de Oliveira, rector of Universidade Aberta, also congratulates all participants in the 10th DMAD Retreat, recalling that it is an event that «meets the needs of academia and society in terms of the transdisciplinarity of the different areas of specialization scientific, artistic and digital and, at the same time, reinforce and strengthen the social ties of a virtual community of practice characteristic of online distance education».
