The Odeleite Board will allocate a subsidy of one thousand euros to families in the parish for each birth or adoption.
This measure is part of a package of incentives recently approved by the executive of the Parish Council, which aim to "stimulate an increase in the birth rate", according to this municipality
The set of measures also includes payment of the «total value of vaccines not covered by the National Health System, payment of pre-school tuition in the first three months and acquisition of school material for all students (1st Cycle and pre-school) enrolled in schools in Odeleite».
The measures come into force as soon as they are approved by the Parish Assembly.
