Carminho and Jorge Palma will perform at the Feira Popular de Loulé, which takes place from the 13th to the 16th of July, at the Largo do Monumento Engenheiro Duarte Pacheco.
The event aims to revive the atmosphere of the old charity event that, in the 40s and 50s, animated the old Quinta do Pombal (today Parque Municipal de Loulé).
The event will have several features, including the exhibition and sale of handicrafts and agro-food products, taverns with regional snacks that can be enjoyed by visitors, children's entertainment area dedicated to the youngest and daily musical shows.
For these days, fashion will also be in the spotlight since, in parallel, but as part of the Fair, Stock & Chic is taking place in the Municipal Park.
Within the scope of activities to boost local trade, there will be several actions taking place, from photography, image consulting, make-up, massages, hairstyling, street and children's entertainment, concerts, DJs «and a surprising fashion show, where models of all ages will parade with products from the exhibitors present at Stock&Chic», says the Câmara de Loulé.
With regard to the program of both initiatives, on the 13th, Thursday, the doors will open at 19 pm with the participation of the duo Your Own Personal DJs, followed by a moment of dancing at 00:19 pm with the Hip Hop group, Urban Xpression. To end this first day, at 30 pm, the artist Carminho takes the main stage.
On the 14th, Friday, at 20 pm, models of all ages invade the park, in a Fashion Show, held with clothes and accessories from the establishments represented in Stock&Chic. Dresses, shoes and accessories will showcase what you can buy at the stands. Hairstyles and make-up by Zeza and Lili will add shine to the show, to the sound of Your Own Personal DJs. The party and entertainment continue into the night, with dancing by Banda Versátil.
The 15th, Saturday, is dedicated to folklore, the night will feature the 43rd International Folklore Festival, organized by the Rancho Folclórica de Loulé, which is already a classic at this Fair.
On the 16th, Sunday, to close in style, at 21 pm, one of the most renowned names in Portuguese music will take to the stage: Jorge Palma.
