Pedro Romeiras studied Ballet at the Gulbenkian, having been a professional dancer at the National Ballet Company, the National Ballet of Holland, the Ballet of the Municipal Theater of Lima and the Lisbon Dance Company.
For his work related to Dance, he was distinguished with the Gold Medal of the II Prix Français International de la Danse (1982), the Medal of Cultural Merit from the Patronage of the Friends of the Ballet of the Municipal Theater of Lima (1989) and the Medal of Honor from the Preservation of dance culture from CID – Unesco – Saint Petersburg (2018).
