Regional Directorate of Culture promotes training in storytelling

Participation in the sessions is free, but registration is mandatory.

The Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve (DRCAlg) will promote, in July, training in storytelling, in Sagres, Monchique, Lagos and Aljezur. 

Who will give the training will be Beatriz Gonçalves, trainer in marketing and communication, digital platforms, secretarial, support for accounting activities, management and development of events.

The first session takes place in the municipality of Vila do Bispo, in the building of the Parish Council of Sagres, on the 3rd of July; on the 5th, the training will take place at the Monchique Parish Council building and the Lagos session is scheduled for the following day (6th July), at the Centro Ciência Viva in Lagos.

The last action will take place on the 10th of July in Aljezur. All sessions take place between 18:00 and 21:00.

In these sessions, the following topics will be addressed: Storytelling and the Importance of a Good Narrative; Main Elements of Narrative vs. Is all storytelling a Narrative?; A Content Strategy to Create a Relationship with the Customer; Sucess histories; Hero's Journey.

Magallanes_ICC is a cross-border cooperation project (Interreg), which brings together several partners from Alentejo, Algarve and Andalusia to work on the theme of Cultural and Creative Industries, inspired by the 500th anniversary of the circumnavigation journey started by Fernão de Magalhães .
