A 29-year-old musician suspected of two attempted homicide crimes, committed in June, in Portimão, was arrested by the Judiciary Police.
In the early hours of 13 June, when the two victims were at the detainee's residence consuming drugs, the alleged aggressor, in the course of a fight, took a «large knife» and stabbed one of the men in the stomach.
This victim did not just die “due to prompt medical intervention. The second victim was hit in one of the arms, resulting from a defense injury when the attacker intended to hit him in the neck and face».
In addition to the two crimes of attempted murder, the alleged aggressor is also suspected of illegally staying in national territory.
The detainee will be present at the first judicial interrogation for the application of coercive measures.
The arrest was carried out by the PJ's Portimão DIC and the investigation is carried out by the Public Ministry of this region.
