Jorge Manuel Costa de Melo (Departure), Francisco Manuel das Neves Martins (The Protector), and António Manuel Conde Falcão (Blessed Activity), are the winners of the digital photography contest “Lagos Cidade”, which the Municipality promoted.
The competition was launched within the scope of the celebrations of the 450th anniversary of the elevation of Lagos to the status of city and awarded the winners with 400 (1st place), 300 (2nd place) and 200 (3rd place) euros.
Comprised of members of Lagos City Council and invited photographers, the jury did not have an easy task among the 143 photographs submitted by 51 competitors.
In addition to disclosure online, the photographs will also be presented at the 34th edition of the Feira Concurso Arte Doce (July 26th to 30th), at the Lagos Sports Complex, with the prize-giving ceremony taking place at that event on July 30th, at 18 pm.
